Cubalah, it is easy. The only thing you need to know is how to breath correctly.

It has been a while since I last update this blog. Sorry for that, I am just plain lazy. Having a FB account doesn’t help either.
Anyway, it has been 4 months since I signed up at Fitness First. So far I have lost about 5 kg. Is that good progress? Well, losing weight is a journey, I think I will take the time I needed. I have taken up yoga at FF and loving it. I have not been able to go to FF during this bulan puasa, so I do yoga at home. One of the poses that I practice is called Sun Salutation (Surya Namaskar) , very powerful yoga exercise that combines few poses. We’ll see later if I could lose more weight. My target is to be the range of 50s with 20% of fat mass. Currently, I am still way off. Frankly, it is so frustrating not being able to lose more after all the hard work. But I guess I have to bersabar.
In addition to the general health benefits associated with performing Surya Namaskar, each of the yoga poses in the series provides specific health benefits:
Poses 8 through 12 are essentially repetitions of poses 5 through 1, respectively. The health benefits of each are similar to their corresponding poses.
Surya Namaskar is an exercise in itself, but it is also sometimes used as a warm up for other, more strenuous workouts. You can also perform Surya Namaskar at the end of other exercise routines as a way to relax and wind down. One of the best things about Surya Namaskar is how flexible and versatile a form of exercise it is for individuals at all fitness levels.
