Topik terpaksa ditulis ala-ala jiwang kerana itulah yang terpendam di dalam hati sekarang ini. Tanganku yang gatal ini telah membuat carian ke atas satu nama dan terjumpa.
There were 5 of them. 2 ladies and 3 guys in the group. They hang out together, did things together, went to movies, played cards, watched TV. The other lady of course, was with one of the guys. The other guy is an Iban so naturally the other lady and the other guy in the group who were of the same race and religion could or would be a couple. Well, almost.
They spend time together, just the two of them but they were never boyfriend and girlfriend. She had a boyfriend and he had a girlfriend. He broke off with the girlfriend and she broke off with the boyfriend. Both of them stayed together but never defined their relationship. Never talked about it either.
He graduated a year much earlier than the lady. Went back to his hometown. Letters were sent to each other. (Well masa tu dah ada email but it was on a mainframe, kena pegi computer lab, alamak it sounds so ancient!!). And one of the letters, he said he was going to be engaged.
She came back a year later. Received an invitation card to the wedding. She never went to the wedding.
18 tahun kemudian, noktah cinta itu akhirnya ditemui. Cinta kepada manusia tidak penting. Cinta abadi hanya cinta kepada Allah. Tidak perlu dibincang, tidak perlu untuk defined kerana cinta kepada Allah, cinta yang pasti, cinta yang pasti dibalas, cinta yang tidak akan dikeciwakan, cinta yang pasti ada jawapan, cinta yang pasti ada di penghujungnya kebahagiaan abadi.
Ya Allah, alangkah bodohnya hambamu ini. Ampunkanlah hambamu ini. Terimalah taubatku.
